Get to Know Dr. Randy Machen
Dr. Machen grew up in Magnolia, and he has been building Little Rock Family Dental Care for over 30 years as the ideal dental office for dedicated, family-driven care that goes the extra mile. Why Did You Want to Become a Dentist?
In his younger years, Dr. Machen was given the opportunity to closely observe a friend of his who worked as a dentist. It didn’t take long for him to realize that what he was seeing looked exactly like what he wanted his future to be! The rest, they say, is history.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Machen completed his Bachelor of Science in Biology at Southern Arkansas University, followed by his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee in 1987. He has also undergone state-of-the-art training in BOTOX and TMJ treatment. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, Arkansas State Dental Association, and the Center District Dental Society.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Machen is the proud father of two daughters named Carly and Sophie. His significant other, Paula, also has two daughters named Lexi and Kaitlin, and the last member of their family is a dog named Girlfriend. Outside of working hours, his favorite hobbies include traveling with family, weightlifting, and boating.
