Get to Know Dr. Don Cobb
With four decades of experience working in the dental field, Dr. Don Cobb’s philosophy is simple: help as many people as possible while improving both their smiles and their overall quality of life. He’s an incredible asset to our Little Rock dental team and offers his years of expertise to help us provide exceptional and comprehensive dentistry to our patients. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
The beginning of Dr. Cobb’s dental career is quite simple: he grew up with a father who was also a dentist. Being around his father’s practice and watching how he was able to help others achieve their best smiles while also improving their self-confidence inspired him to follow in his footsteps. Since then, he’s had a successful career in dentistry and remains passionate about treating pearly whites.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Cobb studied at the University of Central Arkansas for his bachelor's degree before attending and graduating from the University of Tennessee Dental School in Memphis. Afterward, he spent 20 years providing dental treatments alongside his father. He’s also undertaken various continuing education courses covering multiple facets of dentistry, and he’s even a clinical faculty adjunct at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences General Practice Residency Program. Dr. Cobb also holds memberships in several professional organizations, including the:
- American Dental Association
- Arkansas Dental Association
- Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Away from the office and treating patients’ smiles, Dr. Cobb lives with his wonderful wife and often visits his children and grandchildren whenever he has the chance. His hobbies involve golfing, hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. One interesting fact about him: he likes carving decorative duck decoys!
